In the past, the territory of the Defileul Jiului National Park was little researched, but with the approval of the theme for the establishment of a national park, in the north of Gorj county, the first articles highlighting the area’s biodiversity are published in the scientific world.

  Defileul Jiului National Park Administration in collaboration with relevant universities conducts specific research on various topics of interest and their results are published in scientific articles. The published articles related to these studies are presented here.
