RNP Romsilva-Defileul Jiului National Park Administration preserves and protects special areas from the point of view of the natural heritage as well as the cultural-historical heritage within its range. This is only possible if we manage to reduce the anthropogenic impact on them, considering the legendary landscape and wildness of the place as well as the historical charge.
The services offered by RNP Romsilva-Defileul Jiului National Park Administration are presented next:
- Visiting Defileul Jiului National Park with an escort from Defileul Jiului National Park Administration: visitors have the opportunity to see and learn about the most spectacular and important places within the park’s radius. This service is possible for groups of min. 5 people – max. 20 people.
- Visiting Defileul Jiului National Park with a companion and ensuring transport by car from Defileul Jiului National Park Administration on the permitted access roads. This service is performed for groups of maximum 4 people.
- Visiting Defileul Jiului National Park by bike on the permitted routes/access roads. The bike can be rented from the Visitor Center of the Defileul Jiului National Park in Bumbești Jiu str. Zorilor no. 6.
- Camping services at Lainici Campsite where tourists have fire pits and picnic tables. The clearing offers a beautiful view of the steep slopes of the Braicului Ridge and Sfinxul Lainicilor nature reserve. You can go hiking, recreational fishing, rafting.
